Christmas at Grandma's

We love spending time with family at Christmas. There is something especially wonderful about gathering together, visiting, sharing, giving gifts, and playing games. Children run around with cousins and squeals of laughter. We watch movies and eat goodies. We talk and laugh and take naps. I know that my children will treasure these memories.

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Kelly's house this year.
Daryl was the gift passer-outer. The children wait in anticipation.

The treasured gifts of the year were blankets that Grandma made for each grandchild! They love them! What warm love to wrap up in!

A Visit with Santa

The whole time that Miriam stood in line to sit on Santa's lap, she was quietly singing, "You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout"...............can you tell in this picture that she is trying SOOOOOOOOO hard to not be scared of Santa and cry. She did a great job!

Thanksgiving, part 1

We gathered together with our Kelly family yesterday for an early Thanksgiving, since everyone was going elsewhere this weekend. We took these impromptu family pictures with a point and click camera on a timer! Pretty good, considering. I am still in mourning about the "trimming" that happened with the family tree. I think it was triple this height before its haircut.
I am so thankful for family! What a blessing that we love being together, playing games late into the night, and gathering for the holidays! Let the holidays begin!

Valentine's Day

We had a big Valentine's Day Party this year, which is somewhat of a novelty for my kids. We had a poetry party where all 20 kids who came recited a poem, exchanged Valentine's, ate treats, and had a really fun time.
Eliza can now write here name all by herself, due to the 20 valentines that she made :)
Everyone made their own valentines, and I decided homemade is much more fun, cuter, and cheaper!

Christmas at the Kelly's

We had an early Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Kelly's house. Santa even came to visit! The grandkids are quickly multiplying, and six weren't even here.......I know, I know--most of them are mine.

Can you guess which ones have been married for a while, and which couple is
one day from getting married?
