Choose your Favorite!

We have to choose one for the wall!
Do you like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5?

More Family Pictures

If you live near where I live, you should really make note of BriAnne Huwe's talent in photography.  She is SUPER affordable, and we got some GREAT pictures.  I didn't want to spend our life savings on pictures, but really wanted to get a nice family picture for the wall.  We got all of that and then some.  I just love these individual shots of the kids.  She really captured their individual personalities, which is hard to get on camera most of the time!  Plus this one of Ryan and me---as we still were having fun after 2 hours of pictures : )

Can we freeze time for just 5 minutes?

I just want to freeze this moment and remember these sweet little faces.  That even though they tease and fight sometimes, they really do love each other MOST all of the time.  I want to remember that there was a time they would all hold hands and not even complain.  I want to remember that my little girls can hold their own throwing leaves with four big brothers.  I want to remember how sweet those big brothers are with their little sisters, they melt for them every time.  I want to remember that we LOVE being a big family.  We love being together.  We have a lot of fun together too.  I want to remember.........
I know they will get big, but I want to remember that they were this small once upon a time!

Just in Time

I barely got these guys sewn up in time for Halloween. But who is counting? At least I will have them for years to come. I bought a pattern for these Jack-o-Lanterns in August, along with some wool at the Buggy Barn Quilt Show. I HAD to get them done, but other things (such as football and soccer and school and remodeling and laundry) have gotten in the way of their progress until now. But that is OK, because they are done.

I tried them out around the house in different places. I am really not sure where their final resting place will be. If you come over, you will have to say hi to them. The kids love them!

Soccer and Football

Wow! What a busy September and October. It always is, so you would think I would be prepared for it. This year the big boys played football, and the little boys played soccer. And ooohhhhhh how much fun they have had! After this week, we will be all the way done with both. The boys' football team made it to the Super Bowl, so the last game is almost here!
I am just thankful we have had the most beautiful weather for October. It makes it a lot more enjoyable that way!

Here is my VERY cute soccer team!
my TOUGH football players

and their FUN football team!

Flash Back

I wore this costume when I was three. I was having flash backs when I dressed her up today for her Halloween party. Sometimes it is weird when you feel like you are looking at yourself. Nurses may not dress like this anymore, BUT she sure is cute!

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken last Friday.  Here is a sneak preview.  I love this one of the kids!  Even though Miriam wasn't quite sure about smiling for BriAnne.  BriAnne Huwe did our pictures.  She was amazing, and so patient with us.  More to come!
I like this one on me and Ryan even though we are laughing-----at least we still like each other after 6 kids : )

Field Trip

We did it. We went ahead and bought the monster sized van! So I guess we can have about 7 more kids : ) But for now it means we can have really fun FIELD TRIPS! and take friends with us..........

Today, we conquered Badger Mountain. I would definitely recommend it as a fun hike for families. If you park at the trailhead parking lot, there isn't anywhere to eat picnic lunch pizza, except for sitting in the dirt. Oh, but if you are experienced with the trail, you will know that just 20 yards away over the hill is a beautiful park and playground where you SHOULD HAVE eaten your pizza. Lesson learned on that one : )

Really awesome time, AND we love our new SCHOOL BUS!

Something About Me

IT'S THE LITTLE MOMENTS HERE AND THERE THAT MAKE LIFE WORTH IT! I LIVE FOR THE LITTLE MOMENTS THAT CAN'T BE PREDICTED OR PRODUCED, JUST EXPERIENCED!
