Thanksgiving Part 2
My parents are serving a mission at Camp Zarahemla, a church camp up in the mountains of Washington. They are the caretakers there for two years. The fabulous thing about it, is now we get to see them quite often! We went up for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time together. There was no snow at our home, or anywhere on the drive there-----and we had packed ALL of our snow clothes. One of the boys said as we were getting closer, "I am losing hope on the sledding mom!" But lo and behold, once we were within 10 miles away, snow began appearing, and when we got to the camp, they had at least a foot on the ground. The sledding was saved! I am so thankful for my parents, and so thankful that we were able to spend Thanksgiving together.
Grandpa Lee carving the Thanksgiving turkey.
Lots of sledding to be enjoyed.

Even baby Emma came out for the fun.
Hiking to go and cut down a Christmas tree.
We found the perfect tree, and the snow was coming down hard.
We put up the tree at the end of our day. We didn't get to stay and decorate. We had to get home to our paper route, and couldn't spend the night.
