A few last minute Summer Projects

There is nothing like cramming a few projects in at the last minute when you feel like the end of summer freedom is looming. I love the school year and the schedule that it brings to the family---but there is also something to the freedom of summer!

So, I tackled a few projects these two last weeks:
(mostly because a baby delivery is in the not too far future for me---school and baby will be enough without these projects to have finished)

Made a baby quilt for our new little girl
Helped Kortneigh machine quilt the t-shirt quilt she whipped up for her husband, Shayne
Machine quilted this full size quilt for Ashley that my mother-in-law made---it is her heading to college quilt.
And I even sewed up a quilt top for myself, finished product was not yet photographed :)
I helped all of my boys build a "ledge" shelf for their bedrooms so all of that junk, I mean all of those treasures can be moved off of their dressers and elsewhere.
(IE--math team trophies, pinewood derby cars, swim team ribbons, sculptures things, etc.)
Looks like we need a finished product photo of those too!

Something About Me

IT'S THE LITTLE MOMENTS HERE AND THERE THAT MAKE LIFE WORTH IT! I LIVE FOR THE LITTLE MOMENTS THAT CAN'T BE PREDICTED OR PRODUCED, JUST EXPERIENCED!
