The Talent Show

For days we were listening to "Little Miss Muffet," "Jack and Jill," and "Mary had a Little Lamb," over and over and over in preparation for the church talent show. These were done in song, in dance, and all around the house for days. Definitely a girl who loves the stage. . .

The night of the talent show, before it begins.
Getting in place on stage with the help of big brother and mom handing up the microphone. . .
"My name is Eliza Kelly . . .(FREEZE in utter silence, viewing the massive crowd)"
The tears begin to fall before the complete crumble to the ground.
And then I know for sure, she IS her mother's daughter.
I melted a few times in my life, with complete shyness, into a puddle of tears.

(We didn't get it on camera, but little sister starts to cry as soon as she sees that big sister is crying. It was pretty cute.)
